Located in Perth’s entertainment precinct of Northbridge, Chilli Panda is where you can find the city’s best Hunan dishes. Hunan Cuisine is one of the Eight Great Traditions of Chinese cuisines and is well known for its hot, sour and salty flavours as well as the large variety of ingredients and spices.
Project Design Brief
Hunan cuisine is significantly oilier than other cuisines from China and designers wanted a floor drainage system that would provide a high level of slip resistance for the workers in the kitchen. The designers also wanted to ensure the drainage system had provisions to prevent food solids from entering the trade waste system.

- System 200 with 5 Star Heelsafe® Anti-Slip grates with Gully 157

- The System 200 channel is manufactured with a 1:100 fall to facilitate efficient drainage to the outlet
- The 5 Star Heelsafe® Anti-Slip grates have a slip resistance rating of R11 in both directions as per AS 4586
- The adjoining bucket trap, Gully 157 provides a removable strainer and a fixed strainer to prevent solid debris from entering the trade waste system
