Beverage production typically creates a vast volume of wastewater up to six times the finished product. To combat this, the purpose-built brewery was engineered to reduce water and energy consumption and limit the impact on the environment.

Cleanliness was a key consideration of the project and corrosive resistant drainage systems were required for the new site. In addition, designers wanted falls in channels to ensure efficient drainage to outlet points to eliminate standing water on the floor surface.
